Ephesians Week 6

 Ephesians 5   5  1  Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children   2  and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. 3  But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people.   4  Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.   5  For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. [ a ]   6  Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient.   7  Therefore do not be partners with them. 8  For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Update on Mr. Bluebird and on John-Michael...

John-Michael looks good. The NF specialist did not identify any new issues which is good news!  The bad news is ...that the tumor by his spine must be debulked.  It is 3 1/2 cm/ by 4 cm and is at a size/ by his spine...that needs to be addressed.  So, we called to make an appointment with Dr. Williams, a cranofacial/ child- plastic surgeon,....but he is not in network for our health insurance.  The out of network charge is $7500.   Please pray that we can find a good surgeon who knows NF issues and knows nerves.  There is a chance his neurosurgeon will do this. Pray this works out.  This surgery would probably be this summer.

Mr. Bluebird is FREE and doing great!  He is flying again.  What a blessing to know he has a second chance.  

We are so glad to see God's mercy here..and are so thankful that God is keeping His hand on John-Michael.

Lessons learned the first 50 years

I hit a milestone. I turned 50 years old. I am thankful that I don't feel 50.   I am thankful for things God has taught me throughout those 50 years. .  I have learned that God loves mercy and when I feel a sense that justice needs to happen over mercy, all I need to do is remember that I am thankful for when God gives me mercy instead of a just punishment.   (Micah 6:8 8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.) ( Luke 6: 36  Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful. ) I have learned that hurt people end up hurting people.   When I am able to see that I didn't hurt them but I am bearing the results of that persons hurt inflicted by other people, it helps me forgive whatever hurt they pushed onto me and move on.  (Romans 12 : 18  If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. )  I have learned that anyone who thinks they have God
