Lessons learned the first 50 years

I hit a milestone. I turned 50 years old. I am thankful that I don't feel 50.   I am thankful for things God has taught me throughout those 50 years. .  I have learned that God loves mercy and when I feel a sense that justice needs to happen over mercy, all I need to do is remember that I am thankful for when God gives me mercy instead of a just punishment.   (Micah 6:8 8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.) ( Luke 6: 36  Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful. ) I have learned that hurt people end up hurting people.   When I am able to see that I didn't hurt them but I am bearing the results of that persons hurt inflicted by other people, it helps me forgive whatever hurt they pushed onto me and move on.  (Romans 12 : 18  If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. )  I have learned that anyone who thinks they have God

Everyday life at our house..

Recently I had my birthday and my sweet husband worked on built in desks for our study for our computers to set on.  Here is a picture of John-Michael playing at one of these desks. All that is left to do..is to add crown molding to the top of the wall cabinets.

John-Michael has had some unusual symptoms so we are waiting for the neurosurgeon to call us back to determine if it is just little boy bad luck..or something with the cyst in his spine ..or tumor by his spine..  (i.e. he fell and busted his head open..3 stitches.. he says he feels wobbly..alot... he has a headache often... and more)..

We went to see Kung Fu Panda 2.  I really liked it!  I thought it was entertaining and not offensive.  Of course it did have some new age stuff in it...kind of goes with the Kung Fu...but all in all..the good out weighted the bad.

The etherma nodosum is going away... no new spots...but I am still off of gluten and coffee.   It is very hot ..unusually hot in Georgia, as it is near 100 each day..with no chance of rain.   Praying for rain.... looking for blessings... trusting in HIM....
