Lessons learned the first 50 years

I hit a milestone. I turned 50 years old. I am thankful that I don't feel 50.   I am thankful for things God has taught me throughout those 50 years. .  I have learned that God loves mercy and when I feel a sense that justice needs to happen over mercy, all I need to do is remember that I am thankful for when God gives me mercy instead of a just punishment.   (Micah 6:8 8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.) ( Luke 6: 36  Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful. ) I have learned that hurt people end up hurting people.   When I am able to see that I didn't hurt them but I am bearing the results of that persons hurt inflicted by other people, it helps me forgive whatever hurt they pushed onto me and move on.  (Romans 12 : 18  If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. )  I have learned that anyone who thinks they have God

Missing..but not gone

I lost over 5 pounds and have kept it off..even though I am back to
eating 4 small meals a day.
Juicing is done... but not over.  I will choose to juice each day as it is a quick and easy way to get extra vitamins in my diet and the diet of my children.
I am trying to eat mostly veggies.  These collards and onions for dinner.  They are really good.  I think your taste buds get retrained when you are on  a fruit/ veggie juice only diet...which is a good thing.
There are many butterflies passing through my yard. They love the
lantana.

Posted by PicasaI think the near 100 degree temps have been just too much for the red eared sliders.  I haven't seen any of them in over a week, but they have gone missing before...only to show up later.  The fish are still beautiful and active.  I always enjoy looking outside and relaxing.  The hummingbirds are still always around...so funny.  They do not enjoying sharing food..and squeak and fuss as they fly about.

School has started back, but my Veritas class does not begin for two more weeks, so we are trying to get last minute fun- summertime things in.... Missing from my blog...but I am here...doing well.   If you are thinking of doing the "reboot" juicing diet..go for it!  Well worth it!
