Ephesians Week 6

Ephesians 5   5  1  Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children   2  and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. 3  But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people.   4  Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.   5  For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Krasnorark, Russia

We adopted our baby girl when she was 1. She was in a Siberian orphanage. We know the orphanage workers did all they could for her. In 2001, our daughter joined our biological son at home. Three years later, we would have another biological son. Our daughter is incredibly smart and even though she is completing high school in May, she will also have completed 7 college classes by May.

She is stubborn and charming. She is a hard worker and friendly. She fills the house with music and laughter.

When we think of Russia, we are filled with gratitude. Our daughter is such a joy to us. We are so thankful that Russia trusted us to love her.

She is now 17......   No doubt God has great plans for her.

We love our baby girl.

  1. OK... that top picture made me want to just pick her up and hug her!! SO precious! I cannot believe she is finishing up high school! Crazy how fast time goes! Praying the Lord blesses her, keeps her, and makes His face shine upon her.
