Ephesians Week 6

Ephesians 5   5  1  Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children   2  and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. 3  But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people.   4  Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.   5  For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Summer over?

How is it that summer is almost over?  Here are a few things I haven't blogged on yet that I want to remember. John- Michael had his  yearly MRI and follow up with the surgeon. We learned that the NF tumor by his spine has grown so he will have surgery On Wednesday to remove as much of it as possible.

We rescued a puppy and gave her the shots and spaying she needed. Then, I think we found a rocking home.  See photo above..with her new family.  (She is in the bed with the children). :)
John-Michael gave the horses hugs as we went a few weeks without being able to volunteer at the non-profit we have been volunteering at for nearly 2 years.  (He is hugging Spirit here). We worked as a family and build a lean to ... to provide a shelter for some horses at the rescue.

We went to Folly Beach and James Island, S.C. for
vacation.  Here are my three kids (Noah, Madeline, and John-Michael with my mother in law) .  Behind them is the Angel Tree.  The oldest tree East of  Mississippi.

Folly Beach was so relaxing... and beautiful!

And the BEST part of summer.... My 81 year old Father in law made a profession of faith in Jesus and was baptized.
What were some of your highlights of summer?
