Ephesians Week 6

Ephesians 5   5  1  Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children   2  and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. 3  But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people.   4  Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.   5  For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Braves Baseball 2012..so far

Regular season record: 10-6NL East standing: 2 Win percentage: .625

It didn't start pretty.  The Braves lost their first four games...but they went on to play very well after than.  They are currently 10 wins for 6 loses.   ..playing better than 500.
Chipper Jones, the Braves' third baseman,  has announced that he will be retiring at the end of this season.  He has been with the Braves for his entire professional baseball career...beginning in 1993.  That is 19 consecutive seasons.   He has a bum knee but still manages to play more than he doesn't!  Enjoy this last season watching Chipper.  Hopefully this will continue to be an up-year for the Braves, despite the naysayers before the season even began!
Go, BRAVES!
