Ephesians Week 6

Ephesians 5   5  1  Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children   2  and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. 3  But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people.   4  Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.   5  For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. [ a ]   6  Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient.   7  Therefore do not be partners with them. 8  For you were once darkness, but now you are light i...

The power of His Word- Ephesians part 1

Nothing changes us like His word. Nothing heals us like His word.  Nothing leads to deliverance like His word, for He is the Word (John 1:1) .  Therefore, I am going to share a Bible study on Ephesians in hope you will study it by yourself or with a friend. Washington knew Christ as his savior and Booker knew that Christ calls us to serve others. Serving is the key to unlock happiness.  When we know we are doing what God calls us to do, we are happy.   Look at John 2.   On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, 2  and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. 3  When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.” 4  “Woman, [ a ] why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.” 5  His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.” 6  Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to t...
