Study and learn. Be changed.  Ephesians 2 Made Alive in Christ 1 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh[a] and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not

Days like that....

Sometimes you just have days like that. Yesterday was that kind of day. I just felt weepy, kind of out of sorts...a depression for various reasons. I had to make John-Michael's yearly MRI appointment. He goes in Thursday, Jan. 13th. I try not to think that there will be any negative changes to the tumors, but his increased nerve pain has me wondering. I also had to make his yearly appointment with the NF (neurofibromatosis) specialist. He can't get in before the end of March. That was both disappointing and surprising. My family is still grieving the loss of Michael, and some forgetting to grieve as those who DO have hope...knowing we will see him once again. It hurts to see others hurt. There are friends going through their own various trials that make me feel heavy hearted. Sometimes there are just days like that. That's when I try to remind myself that God delights in me (Psalm 18:19)...and that He is STRONG and He is Loving... (Psalm 62: 11-12)... . And Finally....Hebrews 10: 23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. He is my hope... I am thankful that there are few days...like that...
