Ephesians 2- Part 2

Study and learn. Be changed.  Ephesians 2 Made Alive in Christ 1 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh[a] and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not

:Leaning on the Loving Father

We are in the middle of uncertain times... normal difficulties of life and extraordinary difficulties of a pandemic, rocky economy, and a family life upside down. What do we do?  We must lean on the Loving Father.  Do we trust Him or do we not?   Do we know He is on your side or do we not?  Have we put our Faith in Him or have we not?

If we have put faith in Him, keep on.  He is faithful.

Hebrews 10 : 23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Keep looking for ways to love on one another .. .. look for ways to do good works, for His glory, not for salvation, for HE has done it all on our behalf.

Psalm 91 says He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

It is HIS faithfulness that is our shield and rampart.  It isn't our faithfulness. This isn't an excuse for disobedience, but a picture of His amazing grace and His power. His love compels us to obedience.

Let's pray for God to Open our hearts to what He wants us to know ( Acts 16: 14)
14 One of those listening was a woman from the city of Thyatira named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth. She was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul’s message.

Let's pray for God to open my hands to share with others (Proverbs 31: 20)
She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy.

Let's pray for God to open the doors for the next step we are to take (1 Corinthians 16: 9)  But I will stay on at Ephesus until Pentecost, because a great door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many who oppose me.

Let's pray for God to heal our hearts and to heal our land.

The Lord is loving... run to Him.
