Ephesians 2- Part 2

Study and learn. Be changed.  Ephesians 2 Made Alive in Christ 1 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh[a] and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not

What are your favorite things? What are your hobbies?

Madeline's very favorite things are horses.  She loves to groom them, to watch them, to feed them, and of course to ride them.

John-Michael loves girls.   He is truly a ladies man...we didn't do it... he has always been this way.
Just two days ago, he said to me.. "Mama, teach me all the sweet words that girls like to hear."  I asked him what he meant.  He said, "You know.  Girls like to hear  "sweetie, honey". "  I explained to him that if he started calling every girl those words..they would think he was creepy, not sweet.      I went on to tell him to save those words for his wife.

Noah, the oldest, still says he doesn't like girls.  He enjoys playing with his friends, playing video games, and karate.  Today he took 2nd place in forms and 1st plays in sparring.

My favorite?  If you have been here for a while, you know.  If you are new, I will tell you.   Gardening, bird watching, running, painting,  drinking hot tea,   playing with the horses at the rescue,  studying God's word, teaching God's word, home schooling my kids, teaching at the Hybrid school where I work, watching Braves Baseball with my husband, cooking gluten-free delicious meals for my family...and I suppose.... blogging. :)

What about you? What are your favorites?  I know we have people outside the USA reading.   I have only been out of the US to go to Russia.... beautiful, beautiful Russia.  What do you like to do for fun?

  1. We are very similar with the gardening, tea time, teaching and studying and teaching the Bible. I enjoy writing songs, poetry, and blogs. Watching nature in general as well... birds, squirrels, chipmunks, etc.. Today was gorgeous! I spent most of it outside working on the yard with my family. :) Somehow watching the rain is lovely too. Very nice photos. I've never been to Russia, but I have grandparents from there and have often thought of how exciting it would be to visit sometime. Maybe someday you can share some photos of your visit.

  2. I like watching a good movie with my family, like Toy Story, or if it is just me and Noah, a good action flick, like The Dark Knight. I enjoy going out with my bride, who writes this blog, and spending time with her. And my guilty pleasures are Braves baseball and classic rock 'n roll.
