Ephesians 2- Part 2

Study and learn. Be changed.  Ephesians 2 Made Alive in Christ 1 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh[a] and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not

Animal Emotions

If some people weren't so self-absorbed, or unsympathetic... if some people were more compassionate themselves, they could EASILY see how animals are able to form friendships and have emotions (joy, sadness, pain, etc).. then, the world would change.  Animals would have the right to be treated with dignity and kindness.  I don't understand how people can ignore what is so obvious.  I am thankful for people willing to fight for the "underdogs'.

As you watch...Shirley and Jenny, two crippled elephants reunited at The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee after a 22-year separation, no sane person can DENY that animals have emotion and deep relationships between each other... The bonding was immediate, intense and unforgettable between the two former circus elephants. Enjoy.... so sweet... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lF8em4uPdCg
Here you can watch (below) how an elephant became best friends with a dog.  All of these elephants live in Tennessee, just one state away from us.  Russ, I see our next vacation forming...
I hope my own children always understand and have compassion for all living creatures (people, and animals)...   One of the reasons we help at the horse rescue... to bad we don't live closer to the elephant rescue.   We would need much bigger shovels. :)
